David leff Leff began his career as a lawyer, specializing in environmental law. He worked for several years in private practice, representing clients in a variety of environmental cases. In the early 1990s, he joined the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), a leading environmental advocacy group, where he served as a senior attorney and later as the director of the organization's corporate partnerships program.
